I am humbled, grateful, and encouraged by the strong support we have received across District 2. Thank you to every voter, volunteer, supporter, prayer warrior, encourager, family member, friend, and neighbor who helped carry this campaign forward. This movement has always been about Community Leadership for Education and Good Governance, and building stronger schools for every child.

But we are not finished! We remain laser-focused on the General Election in November, and we will need all hands on deck to finish strong. Sign up to volunteer, donate, share our message, and stay engaged because together, we can keep fighting for the schools our children deserve.

Fatherhood is a little bit of everything. Some days it looks buttoned up, picture-ready, and polished. Other days it’s rough, rugged, loud, messy, and full of kids climbing all over you. It can be hard, hilarious, exhausting, beautiful, frustrating, and deeply rewarding... sometimes all in the same day.

But as my children reminded me in their Father’s Day poem, “when things seem worse, we must not quit.” So to every father, father figure, grandfather, mentor, coach, uncle, and village-builder showing up for our children: you are enough, you are doing important work, and you are not alone. Our kids need us present, engaged, encouraged, and committed at home, in our communities, and in our schools.

Happy Father’s Day from my family to yours.

Because I’m raising mine here, and I’ll never quit on our children!

Last day of school for the Clegg kids! 🎉

We are so grateful for the dedicated educators, bus drivers, principals, assistant principals, support staff, and everyone who pours time, energy, patience, and love into our children every day. Strong schools are built by strong teams, and we are thankful for all you do to help our students learn, grow, and thrive.

Wishing every student, family, and school staff member a safe, joyful, and well-deserved summer. We’re excited to see all of our PGCPS students elevate, move up, and keep growing next year! 💚💛

As a father raising my children in Prince George’s County Public Schools, I am ready to partner in the work of moving our schools forward. That means strengthening literacy and math outcomes, expanding early childhood learning, supporting our special education students and educators, building safe and supportive classrooms, and bringing the transparency and good governance our families deserve.

This past Thursday, we gathered for an incredible District 22 Meet & Greet hosted by Senator Alonzo T. Washington , with County Executive Aisha Braveboy and Comptroller Brooke Lierman in front of a packed house at Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant.

As the candidate for District 2 Board of Education, it was both humbling and energizing to connect with so many engaged residents from Greenbelt and beyond.
Hearing your concerns, aspirations, and hopes for our schools reminded me why I’m in this race, to ensure that every student has the opportunities they deserve. Together, we’re building a brighter, stronger future for Prince George’s County. Let’s keep the momentum going!

I am honored to receive the endorsement of Delegate Stephanie Smith, State Delegate for District 45 and Chair of the Education and Economic Development Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.

This endorsement means so much because Delegate Smith understands what is at stake for our students, families, educators, and communities. I am grateful for her confidence, her support, and her commitment to building a brighter future for every child.
