Hey everyone!

We have some exciting news to share with you all. White Woodwork is undergoing a big change and will now be known as White's Woodshop. But that's not all - we are also shifting our focus to become a Montessori inspired woodshop for kids ages 4-9.

We believe that this new direction will allow us to better serve our community and provide a unique, hands-on learning experience for young children. Our goal is to foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning through the use of woodworking tools and techniques.

We can't wait to share this journey with you and watch our young woodworkers grow and thrive.

You can find our new business under White's Woodshop. Feel free to give us a follow for exciting news. The website is under development, enrollments will begin once the website is live.

Thank you for your support and we hope to see you at White's Woodshop soon!

Good Afternoon friends and followers. It's been too long since I shared some of my work.

Here is an order we got through Etsy for a challenge coin flag for a United States Border Patrol agent.

It's shipping all the way to Maine. That makes it the farthest traveled piece of White Woodworks so far.

Would anyone from across the pond like to place an order?

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Two years! What a wild ride this has been. Thank you to everyone who ordered a custom project from us!

In honor of 24 months of making custom
wooden projects here are, in no particular order, 24 photos of some projects I have built.

Lots of changes in the shop over that time. It all started with a table saw and some creativity and now we have a full fledged shop in the garage.

Big shout out to my wife for supporting me every step of the way. This little hobby has turned into a full time job with orders coming in from all over the country.

Thanks again to everyone that has supported us! We couldn't do this without our loyal customers.

Here's to a productive and happy 2022!

Happy New Year to all our family and friends out there.

This project was made specially for the guest room in my house over the Christmas Break.

It's a fully functional Queen sized Murphy bed and it turned out better than I could have expected.

I have plans in the next few weeks to build cabinet/bookshelves to fill in the wall completely and a nightstand and more bookshelves on the other side.

Super impressed with the quality of the Murphy Bed hardware and the exceptional plans that came with it.

Project made from Baltic Birch Plywood, poplar and the Murphy bed hardware kit from Amazon

Hello friends! Hopefully everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time with their families.

We have been carving away non-stop at White Woodworks. We had so many orders that we burned through a set of brushes on the router. Luckily I was prepared and had a new set ready to put in. Check out that side by side comparison of the old and the new brushes.

Quick ten minute detour and we are back up and running. December is officially here tomorrow. Make sure you have your ornament for the year ready to hang!

Happy Holidays from us here at White Woodworks to you and your families.

Just dropped off the latest order for another happy client.

My client had been looking online for the perfect piece of furniture but wasn't able to find the right wood and width.

She has a beautiful dining room table with some accent pieces inside it that she wanted to match as close as possible. With all that in mind, she knew she needed a custom piece. One of her friends recommended us and I was happy to take on the challenge.

I was able to identify the accent pieces on her table as mahogany and I added some stain to the birch to match it to the tabletop.
All the screw holes have been hidden with plugs and it's a simple yet elegant design.

It fits perfectly in the corner of her dining room and matches her table nicely. I had a lot of fun building and designing this project. It turned out better than I expected.

If anyone is looking for some custom furniture for the holidays then shoot me a message and we can get it built

Good morning everyone,

This project was super special to me. When one of my best friends father's passed away it was a huge blow to his family and all of the friends and family. Bob was a great man that inspired me to learn how to BBQ/smoke foods in my early 20's and was a good man through and through. When my friend's mom asked me to make his urn I knew I had to knock it out of the park.

In honor of his abilities to BBQ, I made the urn out of roasted oak which has a wonderful smoky smell to it. I lined the inside of the urn with Purple Heart and also added Purple Heart embellishments to the corners for some added strength. Used the CNC machine to carve a 5 string banjo like he used to play and made that into an inlay for the top.

This was a huge honor for me to make this for him and his family. I hope I was able to honor his legacy and build a beautiful urn in his memory.

Hello to all my followers! It's been a while since I updated everyone.

We have been quietly working on projects in the garage and just haven't had time to share them here. My apologies to everyone waiting for updates

I just finished a beautiful project for a client's kids. The original request came in for a children's table similar to something found through IKEA that incorporated some plastic bins of different sizes for children's toys or things.

The client had requested painted wood and sealing it against water so she could use it as a sensory water bin if possible. After some discussion I mentioned a wood I had used before called Iroko. It's is waterproof and commonly used for boats. It costs a little more than oak but we agreed it would be safer than painting the wood.

I'm really proud of the design on the table. It has all hidden screws and no rough edges anywhere. Made out of iroko and sealed with a food grade oil to protect the little ones. We also added a top that is a reversible chalkboard/whiteboard so the kids can draw on it.

Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer. Slide into those DM's if you want to work on a project with us

Finished up some custom picture frames made out of red oak to match the clients hardwood floors.

Added some splines to strengthen the joints and to add a custom flair was well

I added another tool to my toolbox with my new Framers Point Nail gun. Which has now become my favorite tool and I want to open a picture frame store.

If anyone of looking to get some custom picture frames we are currently taking orders. Have a great week everyone!

Good morning friends and followers.

I'm really excited to show off this piece of furniture. My client knew exactly what she needed and was very particular about how we got there. She originally requested a window bench seat that her puppies could use to look over their land. She also wanted an area underneath the bench where the dogs can take naps. It quickly evolved from there and became and amazing piece of furniture.

The client compiled a list of cool things online that she wanted to incorporate. One of these things was some fine metal work, since I have no clue how to work with metal we reached out to a small metal shop in Tucson and had them custom make some brackets to fit the furniture. She also found some beautiful corner brackets on Etsy from a small shop in Texas.

This project took a lot of planning and additional support from craftspeople across the country. I'm happy to say everything worked out perfectly and the project is completed and ready for delivery.

Hard to believe it's already March of 2021. This year is flying by!

I spent the last week working on a custom desk for a client and I'm happy to say we have another successful order completed.

The client wasn't able to find a desk to fit her exact needs so after some discussions and a very detailed PDF I was able to get the design figured out. The build went without a hitch and we got it installed yesterday.

It's made from Knotty Alder, Birch Plywood and a little bit of poplar. Custom designed to fit perfectly on her rug.

All the wood was purchased from Woodworkers Source and hand built right in the Garage/Shop.
