⚾ OLD’ TIMERS WOOD BAT TOURNAMENT! ⚾

We had so much fun last weekend, we thought we would do it again! Green Springs Baseball & Softball is proud to be a part of a fun-filled weekend of WOOD BAT ONLY baseball!

📅 Dates: October 3rd & 4th

📍 Locations:

• Bob Gray’s Field of Dreams (Vickery, OH)

• Castalia High School Field

THE CATCH:

✔️ MUST use a wood bat! 🪵

✔️ Players on the team MUST be related (e.g., Father/Son, Brother/Brother, Grandpa/Grandson) + up to 3 non-related family members.

✔️ Goal: Get as many players together as possible!

What a great day at the Bob Gray Field of Dreams!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for today's "Old Timers" scrimmage, especially our many former Clyde Flier baseball players who took the field one more time.

There were flashes of the glory days, some old-school trash talking, a few surprisingly great plays, and, thankfully, no major injuries. We'd call that a successful afternoon!

The only thing getting iced tonight might be knees, shoulders, and backs... and we're guessing Tylenol sales are about to spike. 😂⚾

If you see this guy, give him a pat on the back or a thank you. He works tirelessly throughout the year for Green Springs Baseball and Softball. There is a lot that goes into it that most people don’t realize. You may not always agree with him and he may be a little rough around the edges, but everything he does is for the children of our community and this program. So, thank you Eric Kruse for working so hard to make this program a success.
