To kick off Pink Out WEEK today's theme was
Jersey Day at Green Ridge!

We saw ALL kinds of jerseys being repped by our students today! 🙌 But my favorite? Might be a little partial, but you know I’ve got to go with the Green Ridge jerseys! 💜💛🐅

Varsity soccer traveled to Sedalia Monday to take on Smith Cotton's JV team. GR got on the board first when Jack Hoos took a pass from Max Tylar and beat the defense before putting the ball past the keeper just about 7 minutes into the contest. SC managed to knot the score at 1 just before halftime. The second half found opportunities for both teams, but each promising attack ended without goal. After 80 minutes plus 2-10 minute OT periods the game went to PK's. SC came out on top 2-1 by converting all 5 of their shots. Reid Hagedorn, Tylar, and Hoos each made PK's. The Tigers are back in action at home on Thursday vs. Boonville after JH plays at 5.
