May 16, 2020 - As our state begin the long journey back to a
"new normal", Wild Ginger will begin to adjust our services for currently enrolled students and open studio members.

1. All Spring 8-week class sessions will resume the week of May 19th - 23rd. These sessions will meet as a group with adjustments for social distancing per CDC guidelines.

2. We will continue to provide curbside (parking lot) pick-up or deliveries. Studio access is for current student and open studio members only
Call in advance to have pottery or supplies delivered or picked up from your car. The steps are:
a. Call the studio (904-284-4844) when you arrive in the parking lot.
b. Provide us with your credit card information for any payment due.
c. Give us a brief description of your vehicle.
d. Pop your truck or hatch back.
e. Remain in your vehicle and we’ll come to you as quickly as possible.

3. Studio equipment will remain available for current student and current open studio members during open studio hours. Occupancy will be limited to no more than 10 individuals at a time. This will ensure adequate separation and reduce any casual contact with other members.

We remain closed for walk-in retail and gallery sales, as well as Sip ‘n Spins and hosting special events until further notice.

April 2, 2020 - As we learn more about COVID-19 and receive new mandates from our Governor, the President’s task force and the CDC, Wild Ginger will again adjust our services to insure compliance with the “Safer at Home” directives needed to keep our nation safe.

1. All Spring 8-week class sessions are on hold. These sessions will resume once restrictions are lifted and we can all meet again as a group.
2. We know many of you have pottery equipment at home and are eager to stay creative while remaining safe. To help support that effort, we’ve added a “will call” for supplies & firing and will begin posting short project videos you can make at home. The first video should be available by Monday, April 6th. Links will be posted on our website and the Wild Ginger Studio page.
3. No need to come into the studio for pick-up or deliveries. Call in advance to have pottery or supplies delivered or picked up from your car. The steps are:

--Open Studio Hours for Current Student and Members:
Tuesday - Friday 11am to 6pm and Saturday noon - 5pm. Occupancy will be limited to no more than 6 potters at a time.

As we see the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases steadily climb across NE Florida, Wild Ginger will continue to adjust our services to insure we’re doing our best to keep both staff and customers safe and well. So long as we are able, the studio will be open for current students and open studio members during open studio hours. We will not resume the current (March - April) class schedules until such time as the number of new COVID-19 cases have peaked and we get the “all clear” to resume normal social gathering, such as dining-in at restaurants. We will remain closed for walk-in retail and gallery sales, as well as Sip ‘n Spins and hosting special events until further notice.

- Current Students:

We will not resume the current 8-week (March-April) class schedules until such time as the number of new COVID-19 cases have peaked and we get the “all clear” to resume normal social gathering. Students enrolled in one of these classes can take advantage of our open studio access. Please note the open studio hours below, as they may not align with your current class schedule. Once we can resume our course work, we’ll determine the new end date, which will likely carry into May or even June.

-Open Studio Access for Students and Members:

The studio will remain open during our regular open studio hours for work on your own. Those hours are Tuesday - Friday 11am to 6pm and Saturday noon - 5pm. We remain closed on Sunday and Monday. We are limiting the number of potters in the studio at any time and have blocked off a few pottery wheels to facilitate safe distancing. Disinfecting stations are set up at strategic places within the studio.

-Walk-in Retail, Sip 'n Spins and Special Events.

We will be closed for walk-in retail and gallery sales. All special events and Sip 'n Spins are cancelled until further notice.
