Last week, our CSB graduates walked the stage at the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony, celebrating years of hard work, dedication, and achievement! 🎓
Student commencement speaker and CSB graduate, Reyna Barske, inspired her fellow graduates with a powerful reminder to embrace their inner Phoenix:
“...dream big, move forward with passion and dedication, and remember that you are a Phoenix.”
Graduates also heard from former Taco Bell CEO and UW-Green Bay alumnus, Mark King, who encouraged them to pursue careers with purpose and find the intersection of “what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can get paid for.”
Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Go Phoenix! 🐦🔥

CSB Grad Highlight: Nathan Halbach 🎓
Nathan Halbach is graduating from UW-Green Bay with a degree in accounting, but his impact on campus goes far beyond the classroom. Throughout his time as a Phoenix, Nathan became a familiar face in leadership, athletics, and student involvement, always working to make campus a stronger, more connected community.
As SGA president and captain of the swim & dive team, Nathan balanced academics, athletics, and advocacy with determination and heart. Whether he was representing students, competing in the pool, or helping create new opportunities for campus connection, he led by example every step of the way.
Nathan’s time at UW-Green Bay reflects what it means to fully embrace the college experience: getting involved, building relationships, and leaving things better than you found them.

Reyna Barske, our afternoon ceremony Commencement student speaker, believes every number tells a story—and her journey at UW–Green Bay proves it.
From growing up in Wisconsin and navigating personal loss to nearly transferring after her first semester, Reyna’s path wasn’t linear. What changed everything was a decision: to engage, get involved and go all in.
Through the Student Engagement Center, she found community and confidence—serving as a Student Ambassador Event Programming Lead, planning GB Nites events and building meaningful connections across campus. Her leadership extended into service as well, including her role as president of Pinky Swear Pack and her continued work with Camp Hope.
This Saturday, she will take the stage to share a story of persistence, service and choosing to lean in.
