Starr Elementary School is the newest school in the Green Bay Area Public School District, built on Green Bay's west side.
The school is named after beloved former Green Bay Packer Bart Starr and his wife Cherry.

The Green Bay Schools Food Service admin team had the privilege of visiting Starr Elementary and seeing the kitchen for the first time! They can't wait for staff to start prepping and serving meals to Starr students from this beautiful kitchen. 🍏

Winter may be coming, but we will continue to see construction at Starr Elementary School. MacArthur Elementary third grader Izzy asked the Starr Elementary project superintendent a few questions about the progress the crew is seeing, and what we can expect to change at the site this winter. This project is one of many thanks to community support of the November 2024 Referendum.

September is Better Breakfast Month! We serve breakfast at 37 schools in the Green Bay Area Public School District. Breakfast is planned following USDA guidelines on nutrition and includes fruit, whole grains, protein, and milk. If your child qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch, that benefit is eligible at breakfast too!

We're seeing walls and roof lines taking shape at Starr Elementary School! The walls for the gym and geothermal mechanical space were put in place last week.
