Thanks to everyone who came out to our concert last night! Here are a few pictures from the show, as well as a couple from the Jazz Ensemble I performance on Tuesday at GB East HS. See you next semester!

It's incredible to think of how far we've come with this festival in a short amount of time, from one day on campus to a city-wide array of activities spanning nearly a week! UWGB Jazz is proud to be the lynchpin of all of these impressive concerts and shows, and we're very excited to work with so many wonderful partners. Mark your calendars now!

Now that the dust is settling on Green Bay Jazz Fest 2023, we can be thankful for the many great concerts and activities we were able to experience last week. Here's a great shot by UWGB faculty member Mike Draney of Saturday's masterclass by some of the horn players from Blood Sweat & Tears: trumpeters Brad Mason and Bryan Davis and saxophonist Anibal Rojas. What a treat for our local jazz students to learn from these guys!

With all due respect to Adam Neely, we don't have to wait 5-10 years to see if video game music will make it into mainstream jazz education. We did a whole concert of it last semester! UWGB Jazz is on the cutting edge!
