From the outside it may seem like the HSSD Student Services Shuttle Drivers simply transport students, but in reality, they do so much more than drive. Craig Klementz, Matt Butz, and Mark Wiegel are the friendly faces who provide specialized transportation daily for HSSD students with disabilities. 🚗

The shuttle drivers are known around HSSD as kind, hard-working, and student-focused teammates. “The most important part of our job is the connections we develop with our students,” said Craig. “Over the years to be able to see students grow and be part of their educational journey is really meaningful to us.” ❤️

Their love for the job is evident. “We are like one big family,” said Matt. “Doesn’t even feel like a job sometimes.” Mark agreed and added, “I was told from day one that I would love this job. The support staff and the teachers that we work with are just unbelievable and very supportive.” 👏

While these drivers are quick to recognize and appreciate everyone they partner with - the teachers, staff members, and District Office team, their colleagues say the same about them! ⭐

Bay View's Maputo Bay students showed care, honor, and respect for those who have served our country by volunteering to clean up the Village of Suamico Cemetery. ❤️ 💙 Thank you for showing us the way! There will be no school on Monday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day.
