Baird Elementary is a diverse K-5 learning environment in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
In addition to high quality instruction, Baird offers reading support, math and literacy intervention, ELL/ESL support, special education services, college tutors, parent and community volunteers, gifted and talented support, as well as a Spanish bilingual program.

Thanks to the PTO for funding our 5th Grade Celebration field trip.
Due to the forecast looking like rain all day, we had to switch to bowling. The students still had a lot of fun and it was a great way to end their elementary days! Good luck in middle school! 🎳 🐝

Learning doesn't stop when school lets out. Neither does the need for good nutrition! This year's Summer Meals Program starts at community sites on June 10, 2026. Meals begin at summer school buildings on June 15, 2026. ☀️
All children (not only GBAPS students) 18 years old and younger can receive free summer meals from GBAPS. Families do not have to qualify for free/reduced meals to participate.

Our Preble grads walked the Baird halls one more time! This group left fifth grade as our last group in the old building, so even though our space may have changed, they are still proud Baird Bees! 🐝

Mrs. Szwet was lucky enough to teach Yelena in both Kindergarten and 3rd grade. She has now taught all 4 siblings in the family!
Yelena is now off to middle school! Good luck to the 5th grade class! 🐝

Our Student Leadership members donated 6 cases of cat litter to Safe Haven Rescue. They purchased the cat litter with the money they collected from the Dog versus Cat Coin War!

Mrs. Szwet with the bilingual 5th grade class, that she taught in both Kindergarten and 3rd grade! Their Kindergarten year was COVID and they learned with her on a computer. Thankfully, they got to have her in person again when they got to 3rd!
Best wishes fifth graders! Baird will miss you!
