Lombardi Middle School Lombardi Middle School is located in Green Bay, WI and is named after Packers coach Vince Lombardi.

At Lombardi Middle School, our tradition of excellence is built upon the foundation of the search for continuous improvement and life-long learning for all students and staff. The creation of Lombardi excellence does not happen by accident. It exists because of the collaborative efforts of our Lombardi staff, students and families, who are united in partnership to provide exceptional learning opportunities for all of our students. Learning opportunities at Lombardi include our instructional program designed for students with hearing loss as well as our newly developed program designed for students identified as “Gifted and Talented”. We also offer a wide variety of elective courses so that all students can explore more of what interests them and understand the relevance of their learning. At Lombardi we provide over 50 different activities so that every student can find some means to get involved. We are proud to say that our student participation rate in athletics and activities is one of the highest in the District. Our school motto, “We’re In-VINCE-ible!” permeates throughout our school.

Oneida YES Advocate Stephanie Stevens, Laura Manthe, Robin John, Lea Ziese, and Lois and Isley Stevens were among the teachers from Ohelaku, White Corn Co-op. Thank you to our science teachers, Mr. Wichlacz and Mr Zill for getting your classes involved in this hands-on field day. The students will continue to learn about the corn and it's importance to Oneida people, the creation story, as well as how it shaped United States History. We talked about how the corn saved George Washington and his troops from starving at Valley Forage during the Revolutionary War. Lombardi's admin team also learned about the white corn, while participating in this STEAM activity.

The Green Bay Area Public School District is set to host the following meetings regarding the 2026-27 budget:
🔵 October 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. – Board of Education Work Session. The budget will be presented by Chief Financial Officer Angie Roble.
🔵 October 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. – Public Hearing. Immediately after the hearing, the Board of Education will hold their regular board meeting, at which they will hold a vote on the budget and tax levy.

Community members can provide input to the Board of Education regarding the budget by speaking at the Public Hearing on October 26, 2026. If members of the public have questions about speaking before the Board of Education, please see information regarding speaking at public meetings: https://bit.ly/47y5JoN
