This has been a wacky season 2020 has brought us. We miss going to Stevens Point, Rice Lake, Kettle Moraine, and Portage for bonspiels. 2020 has brought us virtual curling and now Thomas Rathert has qualified for virtual curling Nationals representing UWGB this weekend!
HEY EVERYONE! Don't forget this next weekend we have learn to curls at the Green Bay Curling Club. First one is on Saturday, April 21st 6-8pm, and the second is on Sunday, April 22nd 12-2pm. We hope to see you there. If you know you are going let us know so we can set up carpools. No registration is required. Hope to see you all there. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
We had a tough loss this afternoon against Yale. We are in the championship bracket going into championship Sunday. We face Nebraska tomorrow morning at 8:30!
Another great win this morning against Harvard with a final score of 8-2! Next game at 3:30 against Yale!
Big win in our first game tonight against Hamilton! We play Harvard tomorrow morning at 8:30!

CurlingZone โ Everything Curling There will be a new look to Jennifer Jones' Winnipeg based team when it opens play for the 2018-19 curling season, as Jocelyn Peterman (photo by Anil Mungal) comes on board at second.
UWGB has made it to College Nationals in Eau Claire! We have practice the morning at 7:40. Opening Ceremony at 12 and we play our first game at 4:30 this afternoon! More updates to come!

The Curling Club of UW-Green Bay will be attending College Curling Nationals in Eau Claire, WI! Nationals will take place on March 9th - 11th. The schedule for pool play is as follows:
Friday, March 9th vs. Hamilton 4:30pm
Saturday, March 10th vs Harvard 8:30am
Saturday, March 10th vs Yale 3:30pm

Delayed Update: during the semifinals on Saturday night both teams lost to our good friends from Stevens Point. Meaning we played each other in the finals for the second event! Needless to say it was a fun game and a great way to end the weekend.
After some hard ends both teams were able to win their second game today. Semifinals are at eight tonight, wish us luck!
Both teams played great in our first games of the day and were able to walk away with two more wins. Looking forward to one possibly two more games today!
