some of our senior members had the opportunity to participate in Find your Inspiration with the local 8th graders! 🩺🏫

this opportunity was designed to help them explore the wide variety of careers available and get inspired for their future paths. businesses and professionals across many fields, including healthcare, will come together to show these young minds the possibilities ahead. amazing work you guys 💚🤍

yesterday two of our sna board members got the opportunity to go with the N.E.W. Community Clinic on their mobile unit! 🚌👩🏼‍⚕️

our senior students have to opportunity to go to the clinic and participate in vision screens and assisting in the clinic. this week they were able to join the mobile unit at head start to get a different feel for public nursing! they assisted in blood draws, vaccines, and physicals.

we are so thankful to have this opportunity to explore every side of nursing! 💚🩺

tshirt sales are open until november 1st and should arrive before thanksgiving! there are two color options (white and grey) and are $16-$17 a piece depending on color.

OCTOBER 2nd in the PHOENIX CLUB from 12:30-1:30! stop by, say hi, and maybe even stay awhile💚we’ll be going over the club as a whole for our new members or those who are just interested in the club. topics we’ll cover is tshirts, upcoming meetings, and switching over the board next semester 📋🖊️there will also be an activity so come with questions and be ready to hang! 🫂

this past week our seniors started visiting schools to preform vision screens for students as apart of their community health clinical. the seniors test student’s sight with eye charts or with an eye scanner and send referrals if needed. keep up the good work phoenix nurses💚🤓
