Happy Last Day of School!

Today, we celebrated all of our amazing students and the growth they have shown throughout the year. We especially celebrated our kindergarteners as they say goodbye to kindergarten and hello to first grade! We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

We wish all of our students and families a wonderful, relaxing, and safe summer! Thank you for a fantastic school year. We will see you in the fall!

Some people leave a lasting mark wherever they go, and Mrs. Swanson has helped shape the very heart of St. Bernard School.

For 46 years, she has faithfully served our school community in countless ways. From teaching middle school reading to supporting administration in the main office to being a technology guru, Mrs. Swanson has always stepped forward wherever she was needed. Her expertise, dedication, and willingness to help others have been immeasurable.

Beyond her many roles, Mrs. Swanson has been a mentor to teachers and an advocate for each of the many students she has taught over the years. She has helped create many of the traditions that make St. Bernard such a special place, and her influence can be seen in generations of students, families, and educators who have walked through our doors.

While it is impossible to put into words everything Mrs. Swanson has meant to our school community, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made and the legacy she leaves behind. Her love for St. Bernard has touched countless lives.

Today, we celebrate a remarkable 46 years of service and commitment to Catholic education. Thank you, Mrs. Swanson, for all you have given to St. Bernard School. We are blessed beyond measure to have been part of your journey and wish you well on your retirement.

You will always be a part of the St. Bernard family, and thankfully, this is not goodbye. We are grateful that we will continue to see Mrs. Swanson in our hallways next year as a substitute teacher!

Remember... "Once a Bear, always a Bear."

Do you have a gently used band or orchestra instrument collecting dust at home?

We are currently accepting donations of unwanted instruments in good working condition, as well as monetary donations to help purchase used instruments and cover repair costs. Your generosity can help make instrumental music accessible to more students in the upcoming school year.

Donations may be dropped off at the St. Bernard School office. Our summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

If you have any questions, please contact Brenda Winkler at [email protected].

Thank you for supporting the St. Bernard School Instrumental Music Program and making a difference in our students' lives!

Ms. L-P’s 2nd graders took their reading outdoors and made the most of a beautiful day! There is nothing better than enjoying a good book in the sunshine. As summer begins, keep those reading skills strong by finding a relaxing spot outside and getting lost in a great book. Happy reading!

Creativity and collaboration came to life in the coolest way this week!

Our youngest students teamed up with our middle schoolers for an interactive art and technology project that had everyone smiling. In Art Tech class, middle school students designed detailed city scenes filled with sounds from everyday life like honking cars, barking dogs, and more. Using coding programs and circuit kits, they transformed their artwork into hands-on sound boards that preschoolers could explore by touch.

It was amazing to see students across grade levels learning from one another while combining art, technology, creativity, and teamwork into one unforgettable experience!

First grade’s favorite café is officially closed for the summer!

Earlier this week, Ms. Olson’s class celebrated the end of an amazing year with Starbucks Day! Students explored “second grade” books during a book tasting, created their own Starbucks-inspired drinks to add to the menu, enjoyed special drinks made by barista Ms. Olson, and learned how coffee is made. They topped it all off with a cake pop treat!

We are so proud of how much these little learners have grown this year!

Today was one of those special days our kindergarteners will carry with them for a long time.

Thank you Coach Karius and the Green Bay Women's Basketball team for spending part of your day with our students and sharing your love of the game with them. The smiles on their faces said it all. Through basketball drills, high fives, and words of encouragement, you made every child feel seen and important.

We are truly grateful for your partnership and for the way you continue to pour into our school community. These memories will last a lifetime for our kiddos!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Athletic Banquet! It was a wonderful evening celebrating the dedication, hard work, and accomplishments of our student-athletes across all of our sports programs.

A special congratulations to Elinn and Garett, this year’s Murphy Award recipients. We are so proud of your leadership, character, and commitment both on and off the field.

Shoutout as well to Garett and Niko for setting new school records in track this season. Their names will now be added to the school record board in the gym, a tremendous accomplishment and a lasting part of St. Bernard athletic history.

On Friday, we welcomed back the St. Bernard School Class of 2022 as they prepare to graduate from high school this year. This is one of our favorite St. Bernard traditions and a beautiful reminder that once you are part of our school family, you are always part of it.

The graduates joined us for Mass, reflecting the faith-centered foundation that is at the heart of who we are at St. Bernard. After Mass, they paraded through the halls while our students and staff cheered them on and celebrated this exciting milestone. We then gathered in Bishop Hall for a small celebration where graduates had the chance to reconnect with former teachers and classmates.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see where God leads them next. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
