Hello everyone!

This is Ross Cox, one of the officers of UWGB's German Club! We will be hosting some German Club meetings this summer for anyone interested in participating! A Microsoft Teams page has been created for our club this summer and our meetings will take place through that platform! The link to the Teams page will be pasted below. Current students and staff at UWGB will be able to log in using their school emails and request access to the team, which I will then accept. For those outside of the UWGB organization, like alumni, they will have to provide an email address that is linked to a Teams account, which I can use to add them as guests.

Our first meeting will be tomorrow from 1:30pm to 2:30pm and is open to all German learners of any level! We will be playing German Wordle as a way to learn some new German words! I look forward to our first meeting of the summer tomorrow!

German Club is organizing the first of a couple career events in which we invite UWGB German Alumni to talk about their careers, their own career paths and how German has helped them. First up (Tuesday April 6 at 5:30pm) will be a focus on careers in International Education with Molly Witt (U of Vermont) and Erin Kunert (Valparaiso U). Please mark your calendars and come to learn from two UWGB alumna about how German can benefit your own career paths!

Today at 5:30pm there will be a virtual German Club meeting where we will play German Pictionary! I hope to see you there!
