FRC Team 9578 : Player One

The Seven Rivers District event is wrapped and it was incredible! This continues to be our favorite competition of the season.

We had the honor and privilege of serving as the Alliance 5 Captain along side our stellar partners Team 5826 Avis Automata and Team TOBOR. It was the highlight of the weekend working along side these fantastic teams. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!

While our REBUILT season has come to an end, we are far from done!

What a ride for day 1 of the Seven Rivers District event! We hit the ground running and officially held the #1 rank for a glorious 3 minutes. 🏆

The afternoon tested our grit with 4 tough losses, but we rallied back with 2 massive wins to finish the day strong in 13th place!

Indie got a serious "brand enhancement" today. We’re rocking fresh neon duct tape and approximately 1,000 more zip ties. Looking rad, feeling fast. ⚡️

We’ve got 4 more matches to climb the ranks before alliance selection. We’re just getting started! 🤖💨

Easter is in just a few days…will anyone find the egg? 🤔👀🐣

Robot is inspected and I believe we heard the word “elite” used while three inspectors were checking Indie out.

We think she pretty elite, too. 🤩

We had such a blast seeing everyone’s hard work on display, but a few teams truly blew us away. We couldn’t let the weekend pass without handing out some well-deserved hardware (and bragging rights).

Our first District qualifier is in the books!

Even though Johnny 5 says “no disassemble”, Indie required it at least 3 times over the weekend. The team became so fast at it that coach Erik says if this whole robotics thing doesn’t work out we should be a F1 pit crew!

All things considered this young team had a great weekend. We took home the award for Imagery which will proudly be displayed with our other awards.

Next up, Seven Rivers in just under 2 weeks!

Game On! We kicked off Day 1 stronger than a Power Glove, but hit a gnarly glitch with some electrical issues mid-game. Huge thanks to our orange and yellow-hatted heroes for helping us debug the system—we’re officially back in action! ⚡

Meanwhile, our Impact Team absolutely crushed their performance. It was a long, tubular day, but Player One is ready to insert more coins for Day 2.
