What is now known as Howe Community Resource Center started out as a small parent resource room at Howe School. Realizing that the space at Howe School was limited and having bigger visions, stakeholders began looking for a permanent building. Monroe Ave (a former AAA) was purchased and remodeled through the hard work and generosity of many in the community. The name was changed in 2013 to Howe Co

Today is the big day! 💙

Yesterday was filled with flowers, raffle baskets, signs, checklists, and plenty of teamwork as we put the finishing touches on our 30th Anniversary Celebration.

Watching everything come together reminds us just how many people have helped make the last 30 years possible. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone tonight!

💙 P.S. If you look closely through the photos, you may notice a few special silent auction items trying to steal the spotlight. 😉

Strong schools begin with strong families.

“Our partnership with HCRC has been an invaluable asset to GB Howe Elementary Community School for many years. By breaking down barriers to care and connecting families with essential resources, HCRC has helped change lives for the better. We are incredibly thankful for this partnership and the dedication HCRC shows to supporting our school community.”

For three decades, our story has been shaped by people who believe in what's possible.

"By providing children with opportunities to succeed and parents with the resources to support them, they (HCRC) are creating stronger families and brighter futures. Their work is invaluable, and we are proud to be among the many community partners who continue to champion their mission."
- Dennis Buehler, President & CEO, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation

Another amazing story of how the Howe Community Resource Center has made in impact on families. The letter reads:

"The Howe program has helped both my daughter and us, her parents, so much. It has been a great guide for us as parents by providing information about children's development and many resources available in the community. I am always recommending the Howe program because I love it. In addition to parent guidance, they offer programs like Playgroup, where children learn to play and interact with other children. We also love the arts and crafts activities because both the children and the mothers enjoy them. The Parent Café is another wonderful program because it gives us a different perspective. We realize that our own family is not the only one facing difficult situations. It helps us see that there are many other families going through similar experiences, which makes us feel supported and reminds us that we are not alone. The Women's Group is excellent because it gives us mothers a little time for ourselves. Sometimes it is very difficult to find time for ourselves, so I really enjoy the crafts and the opportunity to talk with the other moms. The Nutrition Program has also been very helpful because we learn new tips on how to introduce different foods to our children, and it has been very useful at home. We especially appreciate the support we have received over the past few months through the food baskets. Howe Community Center, Thank you for all of your support and help!
