Yesterday, we welcomed 11 YWCA Greater Green Bay TechGYRLS to campus to explore engineering and science through interactive STEM activities, including wiring a motor and lights and extracting DNA from strawberries. ⚡️🍓

Designed to empower young women and build confidence in their abilities, TechGYRLS encourages participants to see themselves in careers across science, technology, engineering, medical, and math.

Thank you to the YWCA TechGYRLS students for bringing your curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to try something new. We loved spending the day with you! 🩵

We have PilotSmith Summer Camp on campus all week. In our Tech Hall they will be learning about Electro-Mechanical and Automation Engineering and wiring they own setup. What kind of power sources are used in airplanes? ✈️🦅

🚧 Green Bay campus parking and entry changes this summer:

Our Student Center lot will be under construction May 27 - July 12. During this time, Door 9 is not accessible. Please park in Lot E or Lot F and enter through Door 5 (Library). Follow the signs to the Welcome Center.

Congratulations to Oslo Orasit. 🎉 She was choosen by the NE Wisconsin Local Section of the American Chemical Society as an outstanding chemistry student. She received her award at their annual spring banquet this May. Oslo is a student in the Laboratory Science Technology program here at NWTC.

Well done NWTC Laboratory Science Technology students on a culmination of a year of work into your research projects. You planned, executed, and shared your results. On to the next step! 🥼🧪🔬
