Washington Middle School Heat Washington Middle School in Green Bay, Wisconsin is proud to serve a community of over 900 students Without you none of this is possible.

For over 75 years Washington Middle School has provided a quality education to the students and families in our service area. As a PBIS school, our staff is committed to success for each of our students by ensuring a focus on college, career, and community readiness. At Washington Middle School students can participate in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), Fine Arts, and an array of sports and academic clubs and teams that build character as well as community PRIDE. Our teachers engage in regular collaboration and professional development that enhances academic proficiency for every student here at Washington Middle School. Incoming sixth grade students are supported by houses which support a personal approach to their academic and social needs. I am thrilled to announce that this year with additional funding as a Title One school we will be adding coaches and interventionists to provide additional support for our staff and students. We would like to thank the community for referendum support that has allowed us to expand our main office and student services areas, as well as other areas in the building. We look forward to sharing these exciting renovations with you upon completion of the projects in process. Our Parent Network group is already planning activities and looking for volunteers and support from you to create opportunities to engage our entire school community. Together we can do anything and our students deserve everything we can give them to ensure their academic, social, and emotional success. Our home is your home and everyone is welcome!

The Green Bay Area Public School District is set to host the following meetings regarding the 2026-27 budget:
🔵 October 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. – Board of Education Work Session. The budget will be presented by Chief Financial Officer Angie Roble.
🔵 October 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. – Public Hearing. Immediately after the hearing, the Board of Education will hold their regular board meeting, at which they will hold a vote on the budget and tax levy.

Community members can provide input to the Board of Education regarding the budget by speaking at the Public Hearing on October 26, 2026. If members of the public have questions about speaking before the Board of Education, please see information regarding speaking at public meetings: https://bit.ly/47y5JoN
