❤️🌱 Deeply Rooted at NDA 🌱❤️
After severe weather last August took down several mature trees on our campus, we were blessed with the planting of new growth this spring, including a very special dedication!

Thanks to the generosity of alumnus and long-time teacher Tom Blaney, PHS 1968, one of these new trees has been dedicated to fellow Premontre High School alumnus, administrator, and campus icon Ken Flaten, PHS 1977. This living tribute honors Ken’s remarkable 44+ years of service to our NDA community, from shaping student-athletes as Athletic Director starting in 1986 to his leadership as Executive Director of Finance and Business Operations.

And in a fun and fitting twist? Much like Ken's famous former red hair, this tree will proudly turn a vibrant shade of red every single autumn! 🍁

Read the July Triton Times for the full story on this dedication, along with other happenings at NDA as we prepare for the new school year! 📰 https://conta.cc/4fNbeoG

🏋️‍♂️Coaching with Character🏋️‍♂️
Thank you to our coaches who joined us last week for our annual NDA coaches meeting! We can’t say it enough: your leadership, dedication, and impact on our students and school are unmatched. Thank you for setting the bar high and always showing up for NDA!

🎤 We were honored to have Andy Olds, founder of the Academy for Character & Leadership (ACLHQ), join us as our guest speaker. Andy brought an extraordinary wealth of experience to our team. With over 40 years in education, 21 years as a head football coach, and recognition as a 2024 Ohio High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame inductee. In addition to his coaching accomplishments, Andy served as National Director for the NFL’s Play60 Character Camps and Director of Football Operations for the Anthony Muñoz Foundation. His insights on leading with character, integrity, resilience, and empathy left our coaching staff inspired and ready for the upcoming season.

💡 Fun Fact: Our Athletic Director, Matt Koenig, actually served as Andy’s AD back at his former high school in Ohio, making his visit extra special!

🙌 We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mike McNerney, PHS 1990, current NDA parent, and Green Bay Distillery for hosting our group. Thank you, Mike, for your hospitality and for always being a supporter of NDA!
