It's , and we hope you will celebrate by donating to our DARE TO DREAM campaign. We will spend the week sharing the best reason why: the young dancers of our community who deserve to DREAM! https://donorbox.org/2024-annual-fund-drive
Claire from Green Bay School of Dance
When you watch beautiful Claire move across the stage, you might never guess that change is terrifying for her. The decision to change dance studios, school, houses, and even her brother moving out are things she feels very deeply. Claire overcomes this with her sense of determination. In spite of her fear, when she wants to accomplish something, she does it without looking back or giving up. She is unique in her ability to make things happen.
Right now, Claire isn't sure where she wants to go with dance. She is happy simply to dance for herself. But there is one thing about which she is absolutely certain, and that is her favorite ballet. Swan Lake for life!
Claire's determination is a perfect example of what it means to DARE TO DREAM...and to dare to dance.

Natalya, 13, from Green Bay School of Dance
Natalya has been in love with dance all her life and dreams of being a professional dancer someday. Her favorite ballet is Giselle. When she dances, it is easy to see how much Natalya loves the beauty and romance of ballet. One of the most challenging things she has faced is letting her inner critic get in the way of her dancing. When she can't accomplish a particular step or gets the choreography wrong, she feels like she has failed not only herself but everyone else. Her great teachers and the support of her parents have helped her overcome this. She loves that dancing with NEWDO has allowed her to meet, and to be inspired by, so many new dancers.
Thanks for dancing with us, Natalya! We love the eagerness and artistry you bring to the stage.
We love meeting dancers like Natalya. If you would like to dance in our Spring Concert, registration opens today at NEWDO.org

Emma, 13, Forever Dance Company L.L.C. and Green Bay School of Dance
Emma started dancing because she saw The Nutcracker! After that, her mom (a dance teacher) put her in classes, and Emma has been dancing ever since. The audience Emma loves to dance for the most is her family. In fact, if she could dance for anyone anywhere in the world, it would be in New York City for her family. Dance and her family have carried Emma through the most difficult thing she has ever faced, which was the death of a friend whom she considered a sister. Her favorite thing about dancing with NEWDO is the other dancers and the teachers who are kind, loving, helpful, and welcoming.
Emma, we believe you were born to dance! Thank you for bringing your strength, joy, and maturity to our stage.
NEWDO is a 501 (c)3 organization. We rely on donations from performing arts lovers like you help us continue to provide workshops and performance opportunities for dancers like Emma. This link is also available in our bio: https://donorbox.org/2024-annual-fund-drive
