Our Earth crafts gave everyone a chance to get creative and make something. We love seeing each person's unique masterpiece!
During our fun basketball time, our teens are practicing more than just shooting hoops!
They are building important life skills like taking turns, following directions, teamwork, and communication. These casual moments of learning and connection help develop skills that will carry over into everyday life.

Friendship doesn't know communication differences. It doesn't care whether someone uses words, signs, gestures, or another way to communicate.
Friendship simply finds a way. 💙

When the temperatures climbed last week, we found ways to keep the fun going indoors!
Badminton is a great way to stay active. It was safe, supervised, and still allowed our clients to move their bodies and work on coordination.
Just because it's hot outside doesn't mean the movement has to stop!

Lights, sirens, and lots of curiosity!
Earlier in July, our clients had the opportunity to explore a real police car up close. They got to check out the inside, ask questions, and learn a little more about the people who help keep our community safe.

Sometimes spelling practice doesn't come in the form of a worksheet. Sometimes it happens while playing with magnetic letters.
We know the importance of being resourceful and meeting them where they are. When we follow their interests and make learning engaging, they're often more willing to participate and practice skills without it feeling like work.
Learning doesn't have to look traditional to be meaningful

Last week, our De Pere clients had the opportunity to tour a Fire Station, and it was such a fun experience!
We got to check out the fire trucks up close, climb inside one, and learn about the important work firefighters do every day to keep our community safe. It was a great chance to connect with the amazing people who serve our community.
A big thank you to the De Pere Fire Rescue for taking the time to welcome us and give our clients such a memorable experience!

After Becky and Christel were on the news a couple weeks ago, the kids wanted their signatures. We loved seeing the excitement and pride they had for their staff members!
Incase you missed it, here is a video of the segment!
