Join us for Sunset Meadow Mingle at the beautiful Paul Hartman Prairie on Wednesday, August 19. Stroll the trails with Baird Creek staff and board members, learn about recent restoration projects, and discover the beauty of the prairie and wetlands as the sun begins to set.

After the guided walk, stay for a relaxed picnic at the gazebo. Bring your own lawn chair, snacks, and favorite picnic treats while enjoying music, good conversation, and one of Green Bay's hidden gems!

Our last week of summer camp was one of the best weโ€™ve ever had! Our Survivor camp campers impressed us every day from their amazing art skills, their knowledge of the outdoors and their willingness to tackle each survivor challenge or scenario we threw at them! Our Eco-Experts in the afternoon camp were a small but mighty fun group as we went hiking, built solar ovens, and spent plenty of time in the creek!โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿฆž๐ŸŸ

Our education staff is thankful for the countless laughs, memories and fun we had this summer with our summer campers! They bring so much joy into the Baird Creek Greenway every summer! We already have big plans for next year and canโ€™t wait to see you all again. We hope everyone has a great rest of summer and start to their school year!๐Ÿ˜โ˜€๏ธ

The campers this week had a blast exploring the creek, pond, prairie and forest! We had so much fun with a wonderful and curious group of campers! All of our new and returning faces make these summer camp days so much fun and we are lucky to spend them outside exploring the Greenway!๐Ÿชถ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿฆ†

Next week is our last week! Although the morning camp is sold out, we have LOTS of spots in the afternoon open if anyone would like to extend their day or join us for afternoon camp for 9-13 year olds!

If you (or someone you know) would be interested in performing during this relaxed evening of nature, community, and conversation, we'd love to hear from you!

Our 9-13 year olds Eco-Experts and Creek and Critters camps had a blast this week. What a fun group of campers! We explored, observed lots of wildlife, hiked, and splashed in the creek. We only have 2 more weeks of camp this summer and we cannot believe how fast these months have flown by!

We have some openings for 9-13 year olds in our last week of camp Aug 3-6 Eco-Experts (12:30-3:00pm) if you want to join the fun before camps conclude for the summer.

The air quality may have moved us indoors on our last 1.5 days of camp this week, but that didnโ€™t stop the fun! The first 3 days we got lots of outdoor time exploring the forest, pond, and creek. We even had a special guest teacher appearance from our board president Charlie Frisk, who taught us about the fish that live in Baird Creek. He was very impressed with our campers knowledge of fish and crayfish! The fun didnโ€™t stop as we moved camp completely indoors for our last day. Fun times included crafts, games, popsicles and dance parties!๐Ÿค๐Ÿชถ๐Ÿฆž๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿธ

There are still a few openings for camp next week if you know someone whoโ€™d love to get outside in the creek with us this summer!๐Ÿ˜
