We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving from everyone here in the Phuture Phoenix office!

Thank you again to all of the schools who hosted us this semester for our Phuture Phoenix program. This would not be possible without you! We are more than excited we were able to make this happen this year. Our role models learned so much from their time with you and are excited to see you all again in the near future. Just remember, anything is possible when you put your mind and heart into it.

Meet Kailee

1. Why did you choose UWGB?

I chose UWGB for not only the great education program, but also for the homey feeling that campus has. Everybody is so nice and you immediately feel welcome when you step onto campus.

2. What is your major and minor?

My major is education and my minor is psychology.

3. What year are you at UWGB?

I am in my 2nd year at UWGB.

4. What are your future plans after college?

My future plans after college are to move closer to home and look for a job as an elementary school teacher. I also plan on pursuing photography during summers.

5. If you could give incoming students any piece of advice, what would it be?

The advice that I would give incoming students is that you and your mental health should come first over all things. You need to think about your mental needs and take the time to make sure you’re content.

6. What do you enjoy the most about being a Phellow?

This is my first semester being a Phellow, but so far what I enjoy most is learning about and forming a connecting with other students who are looking to go into the same career field as myself.
