We are delighted to introduce Hammock Hollow, a new and valuable addition to our playground's west end. This feature provides students with a distinctive opportunity to cultivate their passion for reading and outdoor education. Our appreciation extends to the Green Bay Area Public Schools Education Foundation for funding this project and to the GBAPS facilities team for their exceptional work in bringing it to fruition.

Learning doesn't stop when school lets out. Neither does the need for good nutrition! This year's Summer Meals Program starts at community sites on June 10, 2026. Meals begin at summer school buildings on June 15, 2026. ☀️
All children (not only GBAPS students) 18 years old and younger can receive free summer meals from GBAPS. Families do not have to qualify for free/reduced meals to participate.

Jackson Elementary School has a few things to celebrate! We received a grant from the BayCare Clinic, LLP Foundation for $2,500 to support our Jaguar Family Den meals next school year. These meals are for our Jackson families to come to school in the evenin, where they prepare and eat a meal together, while engaging in conversation. Thank you, BayCare Clinic! 💙 🐾
We also just received an upgrade of our six garden boxes from the New Leaf Foods Garden Blitz on May 11. We had students in 3rd-5th grade help bring new soil to the boxes. Once the weather cooperates, and there is no fear of frost, we will plan on planting our vegetables. Thank you, New Leaf Foods! 💙 🐾

REMINDER: Jackson Elementary School will have a 2‑hour early release, with students dismissed at 12:35 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026.
With a large concert scheduled nearby that evening, we want to ensure we have taken all measures to keep students safe. Unusually heavy traffic is expected in the surrounding area throughout the afternoon.
