The average person encounters 2 to 5 traumatic or critical events in an entire lifetime.
A person who works in public safety encounters 400 to 800 traumatic events just in their career. That’s 15,900% to 19,900% more than the average person.
Public safety workers are also 2 to 4.5 times likely to suffer from PTSD and 1.4 times likely to die by su***de than the general public.

🚒 Behind Every Rescue: A Journey of Grit & Growth 🚒

Sarah, one of our fearless trainee firefighters. Just two years ago, she had never stepped foot in a firehouse. Today, she's on the frontlines of our rigorous R.I.T. Training Program.

Sarah's journey with PSTC began with a spark of curiosity and a desire to serve her community. From her first day navigating simulation drills to mastering the art of Heavy Rescue, she's faced challenges head-on with unwavering determination.

In her own words: "At PSTC, I found not just a training ground, but a cadre that pushes me beyond my limits. Every drill, every exercise, has made me stronger and more prepared to help those in need."

Join us in celebrating Sarah's journey and the countless others who transform from novices to heroes every day at PSTC. 💪🔥

Your guide to what’s happening in your neighborhood. The “I just saw sirens” (yes this is an exact statement said often) posts on your area group page aren’t necessary. Join a local scanner group (if your area has one) and look for a recent post of the incident, or download one of the many FREE scanner apps and listen to what is going on in your area first hand.
Technology is amazing, now you can be amazing and use it to its full potential. Or you could contact your local Fire/EMS agency and ask if they are in need of volunteers (they are); provided you aren’t in a very urban area that employs them full-time. We believe in you.

We would like for all to take a moment out of their “holiday” to remember and honor those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice. Those who contributed to the freedoms that we have today and lost theirs for us.
