Saturday, we had the opportunity to conduct a RIT class at Green Valley-Morgan Fire Company Inc.. 22 Students in attendance, some local and some traveled 143 miles. Students went through 6 stations throughout the day and ended with a Mayday scenario to tie all of the learning together. The weather wasn't very cooperative, but all in attendance pushed through and made the best of the day.
We would like to thank Green Valley-Morgan Fire Company Inc. for hosting the class, having a house for us to use, and cooking lunch.
Thank you to our instructors who made the trek up to NE Wis.:

This past week 2 of our instructors had the opportunity to attend the NFPA 1403 Live Fire Instructor course put on by the Wisconsin Society of Emergency Services Instructors at Fox Valley Technical College.
After 40 hours of combined classroom and hands-on training both PSTC Fire Svcs. Director Johnson and Fire Svcs. Instructor Herlache are now WI State Certified Live Fire Instructors.
Than you to both for taking the time to complete this training and adding that additional knowledge and certification to our Fire Services program.

It’s that time of year again where Paramedic students work shifts on their local EMS service with preceptors getting their field skills completed.
Many EMS services run as a 2-person crew and it occasionally happens that the crew forgets to check the back of the ambulance to make sure their student is back there and not left behind in the bathroom or grabbing snacks out of the EMS room at the hospital.
