Greeley! If you haven't returned your ballot, get it in today. One question:

Do you think the city should be funding a private arena and luxury resort? Public money for a private project? The city taking on all the risk? Mortgaging many of our city properties? I don't think that fits many peoples' political views.
If that doesn't sound good to you

Vote YES on 1A and get your ballot in by 7pm.

A YES vote repeals a zoning change that City Council passed last year. That will then allow for more time to make changes to the plan and tells City Council that the people of Greeley aren't supportive.

We're in the waning days of 2025. That means it's resolution season. Are you looking to get more movement, fresh air and community in your life in 2026? That's been our goal for over a decade. We want to offer a place for the people of the Greeley area to feel welcome and encouraged to get moving. We really believe that running can be an amazing vehicle to build strong community and better our own lives.

If that sounds like what you're looking for, we invite you to join us. We currently meet on Monday evenings 6pm at the Family Funplex for Monday Mile. This is a great option for beginner runners or walkers. We stay in the park. As the name implies, it's designed to encourage folks to start their week with just a mile, run or walk.

Thursday at 6pm is our Pub Run. We meet at one of our great local breweries or restaurants, changing location every week. We run around 3 miles. We invite you no matter your pace or if you're up for the distance. We'll accommodate anyone who wants come and make sure no one's left behind. After the run, we hang out and have a drink. Some of the spots we hang out at might have trivia or music bingo.

I understand that it's intimidating to show up to a group the first time, you don't know anyone and aren't sure how it's going to go. I promise that our regulars are welcoming and we're thrilled to have new faces join us. We're pretty laid back. No one is elite here. We're mostly people who started running as adults. Thursday: our last run of the traditional Summer with some fall-like weather.

We'll meet at Wiley Roots Brewing, 6th Ave and 3rd St. We have a 3 mile route exploring the east side of downtown. No runner left behind.

Back at Wiley, they have Music Bingo on Thursdays. We'll hang out, have a drink and enjoy some tunes.

Heat training and cold recovery fueling this week.
Thursday group run meets at Baskin-Robbins/Sanborn Park area. Main route is 3 miles. The park is good for a shorter run or walk. Then we'll go grab some ice cream and hang out.
