Our teachers were hard at work today! We started the day with our District 6 Convocation then worked collaboratively this afternoon to align student work with grade level standards. Thank you Madison teachers and staff for your dedication!

Today, we were so excited to host Dr. Kamel Haddad, Interim President of the University of Northern Colorado. Thank you, Dr. Haddad, for visiting with our sixth grade students about their learning in Mrs. Naranjo Roth’s math class!!!

Students in our MAB program are focused on a healthy body and mind this year! They have already used our school smoothie bike, participated in pizza making through our Culinary Classroom, and participate in Strong Bodies, Strong Minds 4 days a week. Having extra time to focus on healthy habits has been a huge part of their success so far!

Our 8th grade WEB Leaders spent part of their summer getting ready to welcome and support our incoming 6th graders! WEB: Where Everybody Belongs is all about building connections, creating community, and helping our newest middle schoolers feel right at home. Way to go middle schoolers!

Hi! My name is Derek LeFebre, and I am an Assistant Principal and the Athletic Director at James Madison STEAM Academy. This is my second year with JMSA and my twentieth year in education. I am very excited for our middle school athletic program, which includes Girls Volleyball, Boys Football, Cross Country, Girls/Boys Basketball, Wrestling, and Girls/Boys Soccer.
