We’re excited to welcome our new Director of APASS & NASS, Dr. Nicolyn Woodcock (she/her)! She holds a PhD in English and her research expertise centers AAPI perspectives of war, life in the Midwest, and foodways. Most recently, she was director of the Asian and Native American Center at Wright State University and taught at Colorado College, Clark University, and Medaille College prior to transitioning to cultural center work.

A few facts:
🇵🇭 Dr. Woodcock is Filipina American & from Toledo, Ohio
đź“š She is always reading 3-4 books. Please ask for her recommendations and invite her to your book clubs
🍩 She has completed the Butler County donut trail a record 4 times! (Bring her Apple Fritters)

Dr. Woodcock is excited to be back in Colorado and to continue the important work to support Asian Pacific American and Native American Students as they navigate college and beyond.
