We started our last day of school wishing our 5th graders good luck and success on their middle school adventures! We ended it by having our 5th grade ceremony and sharing their achievements with their families!

Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month! 🍜🌺🗺️

The month of May is dedicated to celebrating and honoring the cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. At Shawsheen, we are celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a special bulletin board showcasing foods and flavors, holidays and traditions, flags and maps from countries and territories represented in the AAPI community.

Students have enjoyed exploring and learning more about the many cultures that enrich our world and school community. Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in the building!

Due to inclement weather, all Greeley-Evans School District 6 schools, including charter schools, will be CLOSED on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

All before and after-school activities, including sports practices and programs, will be canceled. All District 6 preschool programs will also be canceled.

We encourage all families to stay warm and take appropriate precautions during this time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Last week, our Student Council went around the Shawsheen neighborhood to spread cheer and Spring vibes! Giving our May Day Baskets is one of our yearly traditions, and no school today was not going to stop us!

PK-5th grade had attendance percentages of 90% or higher last week. We celebrated by watching a movie during lunch.

Our 5th graders earned a Starbucks day for working hard and SOARing during CMAS!
