God blessed us with a beautiful day for the PS/PK “messy day.” There was lots of laughter and lots of learning and a pan of “dirt dessert” was devoured by both staff and students.

This year’s theme was “Colorful Colorado”. Look for Trinity’s barrel when you visit the Greeley Stampede this summer.

It was “fly away” day for the preschool butterflies this morning. We set them loose by the Foundry plants that go on sale after school. If you buy something, you might get the bonus of a Painted Lady - or maybe some of their eggs!

On May 8th, The Foundry will host a plant sale from 3:15-5 pm, showcasing plants cultivated by our students at the Trinity Campus. Please attend and support Trinity.

A growing body of research confirms something quietly powerful about the family dinner table. Children who eat with their family four or more times a week consistently show better academic performance, stronger vocabulary, higher self-esteem and lower rates of anxiety than those who rarely share meals together.
The reason goes deeper than food. Family meals are one of the last remaining spaces where children experience uninterrupted conversation with adults. They hear complex language, follow multi-topic discussions and practice expressing their own thoughts in a safe environment. Researchers found that dinner table conversation exposes children to more diverse vocabulary than classroom instruction alone.
Studies also show that the predictability of regular family meals regulates a child's nervous system. Knowing that dinner happens together creates a rhythm of safety. Children who feel emotionally secure at home show up to school with more cognitive bandwidth available for learning. The stability at the table translates directly into focus in the classroom.
Academic performance doesn't only improve in classrooms. Sometimes the most powerful lesson happens over a shared plate at home.
Such a memorable celebration

Thanks to the Foundry “Difference Makers” class. Today’s acts of kindness included setting up the nap mats for childcare and helping move items to the church building for the Mortgage Burning Celebration on Sunday.
