It may be summer, but our band is definitely not taking a break! ☀️🎶

Last Tuesday and Wednesday, our newest marching band members were introduced to the fundamentals that will help set the stage for a successful season. They worked hard learning basic techniques both on and off the field, building the skills and confidence needed for what’s ahead.

We’re excited to see their growth and can’t wait for the season to begin! 💙🥁🎺 🐻

Congratulations to the final D6 Athlete of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year ElleJay Garcia!

"ElleJay has truly been the workhorse of our team this season. Coming into the year with only JV experience, she committed herself to improving every aspect of her game and earned a spot in our Varsity lineup from day one. Throughout the season, she has consistently competed in the #3 position behind two senior golfers who are both previous state qualifiers, a testament to the tremendous growth and dedication she has shown.

Her hard work, determination, and willingness to compete have paid off in a huge way. This weekend, we found out that ElleJay officially qualified for the State Tournament herself! We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and excited that we will now be taking three girls to state this season." - AJ Johnson, Golf Coach 🐻

Congratulations to Nolan Cranson, our 2nd annual winner of the Mr. Grizzly Award for the Northridge Baseball program! ⚾️🐻

This award recognizes commitment, leadership, dedication, and sportsmanship — qualities Nolan has consistently demonstrated both on and off the field.

The top three athletes are voted on by their teammates within the program, with coaches selecting the winner from the finalists. Being chosen for this honor speaks volumes about the respect and admiration Nolan has earned from both his teammates and coaches.

Congratulations, Nolan, on an outstanding achievement and an incredible season! 👏🎉🐻

As we close out another school year, we also celebrate three incredible retirements. ❤️

Diane Patterson, Jenise Davis, and Mike Chandler — thank you for the lasting legacy you leave at Northridge. Over the years, you have impacted and inspired thousands of students, families, and staff members in ways that will never be forgotten.

Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to education have truly changed lives. You will be deeply missed, and we are so grateful for everything you have given to our school community. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter! ✨🐻
