We loved celebrating the amazing creativity and hard work of our Film & Animation students from the Graphic Design & Rich Media and Communication Media programs. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

The Graphic Design and Rich Media (GDRM) Department would like to give a huge thank you to all of the industry professionals who joined us for our first-ever Makers & Fakers event! 🎨✨

Your creativity, mentorship, collaboration, and support helped make this event an incredible success for our GDRM students. The opportunity for students to connect and collaborate with professionals in the creative industry made the experience both meaningful and inspiring.

From animations and movie posters to design concepts and creative teamwork, your involvement helped bring ideas to life and created an unforgettable hands-on learning experience for everyone involved.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and energy you shared with our students and community. Thank you for helping make Makers & Fakers such a memorable event — we already can’t wait for next year!

GDRM proudly introduced our newest event: Makers & Fakers!
This exciting new experience was created to inspire collaboration, creativity, and community between our students and industry professionals.
Participants worked together in teams to:

🎬 create animation storyboards
🎨 Develop color concepts and visual designs
🍿 Design movie posters
💡 Collaboration and creativity

“Makers & Fakers” gave students the opportunity to learn from industry professionals while showcasing their own creativity and teamwork in a fun, hands-on environment.
