Yesterday marked the start of an exciting new school year for our teachers! 🍎📚

Our staff kicked off the week with Project-Based Learning (PBL) training and will spend the next three days refining, improving, and creating engaging learning experiences for all of our students.

As a Project-Based Learning (PBL) school, Martinez believes students learn best by actively exploring real-world questions, solving authentic problems, collaborating with others, and creating meaningful projects. PBL helps students build critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills while making learning engaging and relevant.

We can’t wait to see all of the incredible projects and learning opportunities our teachers are preparing for this school year. It’s going to be a great year at Martinez! 💙💛

Get ready for our back to school night!! This year we will have community partners there for all of you! Come get checked at the mobile health unit, check out the mobile library and check in with other partners in the gym😃😃 CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!!

Our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders had a wonderful time taking our learning about life on a working farm to Lee Martinez Farm today! 🐄🐐🐓 Students enjoyed meeting the animals, and exploring the farm. They also had a blast playing at the park and spending time together outdoors! 🌾🚜🛝
It was a day filled with hands-on learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

What a fun day for our 3rd–5th grade Summer School students! ⚾️☀️

Today, students enjoyed an exciting trip to the Colorado Rockies game, where they got to experience the thrill of Major League Baseball, cheer on the Rockies, and make lasting memories with friends and teachers.

From the first pitch to the final out, smiles filled the stands as students enjoyed a beautiful day at the ballpark. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special experience possible!

Today we celebrated our final awards assembly of the school year, and what an amazing year it has been! 🎉

We are so proud of all the hard work, growth, kindness, perseverance, and leadership our students have shown throughout the year. From academic achievements to positive behavior and personal growth, every student has had moments to shine. 🌟

Thank you to our families, staff, and students for making this year so special. Watching our students learn, grow, and support one another has been the greatest reward. We can’t wait to see all the incredible things they accomplish next year!

🎤Yesterday was our school dress rehearsal, and the cast did an amazing job! We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and practice these students have put in throughout the year to prepare for this performance.
