Camp Runabout Camp Runabout is an all-inclusive adult summer camp for active people. Each morning starts with a run or yoga session.

Camp Runabout is an all-inclusive, fun-filled summer camp for adult runners (sorry, you gotta be 21). Held in the Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, Camp Runabout brings like-minded runners together for 3 days of training and fun. Camp Runabout allows you to revisit the fun you had (or missed) at summer camp as a child while enjoying the benefits of adulthood. During the day, our 200-acre camp is yo

ur personal playground, as you are free to explore all of your favorite camp activities… or simply find a cozy spot under a tree and catch up on your favorite book. The fun continues into the evenings with nationally-recognized speakers, a bonfire and a camp-wide parties with a DJ or Band.

Once upon a time, Camp Director Bill had an idea for a scavenger hunt.

Clayman Dave brought the idea to life, handmaking over a dozen gnomes to hide around camp.

And somehow, those little gnomes became one of the most talked-about—and competitive—parts of camp.

They’ve inspired ransom notes, caused Camp Olympics ties, and sent campers sprinting from activities and scouring the grounds in search of their next find.

The rules are simple: the gnomes are hidden in public places around camp. Sometimes we give clues, if the counselors had a little too much fun hiding them. And campers will go to some pretty impressive lengths to collect them.

Some hunt for their team.
Some come to camp specifically for the gnomes.
And some just gotta catch ’em all.
