After the festivities, everyone headed into the gym for our First Day of School Assembly. The energy was electric, and we can't wait to see our Eagles soar to new heights this year! 🦅✨

Today was an amazing kickoff as we rolled out the red carpet for our incoming 7th graders at our annual 7th Grade Boot Camp! 🌟 Our incredible 8th-grade leadership team was on hand to make sure our new students felt right at home—answering questions, giving directions, and sharing some top-secret tips for success! 🤫✨

The excitement was palpable as these eager kiddos met their awesome teachers and got their lockers all set up! 🗝️🔒 Let the fun and learning begin! Here’s to a fantastic year ahead—welcome to the family, 7th graders! 💙🎉

🎉 Exciting News for Dayspring Elementary! 🎉

We're thrilled to announce that the Dayspring Elementary Spirit Team is back! Starting September 10th, girls in K-3rd grade can join us every Thursday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM through March 11th.

✨ What to expect:
- Cheer along with the HS Poms from the stands at two home games 🏈🏀
- Perform at halftime shows
- Shine in the March Pom Showcase!

💵 The cost is $350, covering classes and uniforms (which can be reused and resold!). Registration and a $200 deposit are due by August 31st.

🌟 New Staff Spotlight: Meet Mrs. Lyssa Jones!🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Mrs. Lyssa Jones as our new Administrative Assistant in our Pre-K (Early Education) program! 🎉

A true leader on and off the field, Mrs. Jones grew up playing a variety of sports and continues to embrace an active lifestyle with hiking, fishing, and paddle boarding alongside her four kids. 🏞️⚽️ She’s also a culinary artist in the kitchen, mastering the art of freshly milled sourdough bread! 🍞✨

A proud alumna of CSU, Mrs. Jones was a standout student-athlete, earning All-Conference honors in softball. With a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies, she is deeply committed to fostering growth and connection in our community.

Mrs. Jones is excited to join the DCA family and share in our mission: to pursue Christ and inspire each other and our young learners to grow, love, and leave a lasting legacy. ❤️

Mrs. McCoy believes in the power of language not just as a skill, but as a way to build confidence and connection. Her faith guides her teaching, allowing her to create a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where students can truly thrive. 💖

When she’s not inspiring her students, you can find her taking relaxing walks with her husband, Jason, or playing tennis with her son, Tanner. 🎾❤️
