Self Respect, Unity and Academic Success. Overall, BSU is an organization that values unity, self-respect, and service.

The purpose of Black Student Union (BSU) is to bring together the University of Northern Colorado¹s Black student population by providing them with opportunities to explore their racial/cultural identity and develop leadership skills through participation in programs and services on and off campus.
