Hey there Wildcats! A few weeks ago, GCHS enjoyed a night of frivolity, dancing, and fun at our Prom which was at the UNC Campus Commons! The Wildcats were dressed to the nines, the music from our DJ was bumpin', and the Cats were cuttin' rugs left and right on the dance floor! Our very own student-led band, 303 Clave, performed as well to kick off the night! Our junior Prince winner was Erick Segovia-Cabrera, and the Junior Princess winner was Mercy Lubuy! Winning Prom King was the one, the only, Kevin Tanabanu, and our Prom Queen was Abi Tovar! What a night! What a great day to be a Wildcat!

Guten Tag, fellow Wildcats! These German students represented GCHS at the first annual CO German Day with other German high students from Colorado. Aiden Arp achieved first place in the German level 1 competition with a surprise $250 scholarship and Rowan Santos was awarded a $500 scholarship. Way to go Wildcats!

Wildcat Nation!!! Recently, the Castle hosted our the First Annual GCHS Festival of Cultures! There were food trucks, performers from GCHS and Salida del Sol, street artists, games, a car show and various clubs that sponsored booths. We hope to continue this tradition in the future and combine it with our 100th year celebration next year. An amazing time was had by all, and our Wildcat pride was on full display as we celebrated all of the different cultures and people that make Greeley Central such a special place. What a great day to be a Wildcat!

CALLING ALL WILDCATS!
The year 2027 will mark the 100th anniversary of the GHS/GCHS building lovingly known as "The Castle", which was completed and opened on the corner of 16th street and 14th avenue in 1927. The school community and a committee of current and former Wildcat employees are working hard to commemorate this historic milestone in the school's history. The current plan includes the creation of large "shadow boxes" filled with generational memorabilia, that will be placed on the second floor hallway and Historic Library walls. There will be a box created for graduates from each decade from the 1920's through the current decade. If you or anyone in your family have Wildcats memorabilia that you would be willing to donate for placement in these permanent displays, please gather your donations and drop them off with Maria, the secretary located at the North Vestibule school entrance. We hope to preserve the rich history of GHS/GCHS through this project. Your help and generosity would be greatly appreciated!
