Thank you to all of the families that supported Tointon’s Coffee Cart! All of the students got to order drinks at Avery’s Tea House last week for their field trip. Avery’s Tea House is in Loveland, CO and they employ individuals with disabilities. We are looking forward to continuing the Tointon Coffee Cart next year!

Today, the entire Tointon student body came together on the football field to create this incredible aerial photo!

What a fun and memorable way to wrap up an amazing 2025–2026 school year. Seeing all of our students and staff come together to create something so special truly represents the spirit of Tointon.

Incoming Kindergarten Families,

We are excited to welcome your child to Tointon! To help prepare for the upcoming school year, we offer two great opportunities: Kindergarten Jumpstart and Kinder Camp.

Kindergarten Jumpstart (July)
Jumpstart gives students a preview of what kindergarten will look like, along with time to practice routines and build confidence before the school year begins. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Kinder Camp (August 10–11)
Kinder Camp is a shorter introduction to school and is intended for students who are NOT attending Jumpstart in July.
➡️ Please only sign up for Kinder Camp if your child will not be participating in Jumpstart.

We can’t wait to meet your incoming kindergarteners and support them as they begin this exciting journey!

Yesterday, Amaya Hall, a Chappelow and Greeley Central grad, zoomed in with Mr. Miller's Algebra class. She discussed how the engineering design process is seen in her work as a musician and photographer. She also discussed her path through D6 and UNC and some insight that allowed her to succeed musically and academically in high school and beyond as our 8th graders are prepping for high school. Thank you, Amaya!

Congratulations to the Tointon Boys and Girls Track & Field teams on winning the Track & Field District Meet!

We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and determination our student-athletes showed throughout the season. Your teamwork and perseverance paid off in a big way!

Due to inclement weather, all Greeley-Evans School District 6 schools, including charter schools, will be CLOSED on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

All before and after-school activities, including sports practices and programs, will be canceled. All District 6 preschool programs will also be canceled.

We encourage all families to stay warm and take appropriate precautions during this time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

May Engineering Challenge - Ice Melt Race

Materials - sugar, salt, warm water
Instructions - Place ice cubes in bowls. Test different materials to see how fast they melt the ice cubes.
Challenge - Find the fastest way to melt ice cubes.

Last Wednesday, our Tointon Engineers participated in Engineering Trades Day. In years past this event was for 3rd and 7th graders, and this year the whole school was able to participate!

This event would not have been possible without our amazing community partners! Thank you to - City of Greeley Water, CSU Energy Institute, Phillips 66, the Poudre Learning Center, Roche Construction, Aims Community College, the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, Conduct All, Woodward, Platinum Traffic Engineering, Opterus, Cook Medical, Mortneson Construction, Allo Fiber, Western Area Power Association, and the Distict 6 CTE Bus.
