I was very happy to meet Dr. Jaimie McMullen a professor and students from UNC who are studying to be PE teachers and are currently student teaching in District 6 Schools. Unfortunately, PE is offered in schools much less than it should be. It is essential in so many ways - increasing mental alertness, health, and reducing behavioral issues through movement and activity. A shout out to Mr. O the Pied Piper of PE!
