Preschool graduation and Moving On ceremony 2026.

I can't believe this is the last time my older group (missing one graduate) are going to all be together with me. I've had some for two years and the others for four and now they are moving up to the next level. 🥲 It's a bittersweet time for me, but they are going to do great next year ❤️

Field trip days are awesome! We had a blast checking out the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. We got to make a class band and try out lots of instruments, watch bees doing what they do best, and even saw some snakes and other critters.

Direct enrollment is the process a Provider and Family engages in to complete the matching process beginning April 1. Find a licensed home-based child care program that fits your family's needs!

TIP #1: Talk to Providers First
The best way to ensure a seamless process is to make sure you are speaking with providers before you make and submit your selections.

TIP #2: Review and Update Your Application
If you haven’t completed enrollment with a Provider, make sure you are regularly checking your UPK dashboard to ensure you are completing all necessary steps.

TIP #3: Need Help? Contact Your LCO
If you are having difficulty finding a provider, please reach out to your Local Coordinating Organization (bit.ly/FindMyLCO) for additional support.

We had a great time at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance on Tuesday for a Learn at the Zoo day. We got to see all the animals (except the Gorillas which were hiding really well), pet a tiger pelt, build wooden homes out of tree cookies, and watched an elephant show while eating lunch. We even met some new friends 😀

On May 11, 2026, as we stand in solidarity with the “Day Without Child Care” movement, we also want to honor the incredible dedication of our members who choose to remain open on this day. Your hard work ensures that parents can continue to participate in their jobs and communities, providing vital support to our economy and society as a whole. The legislative committee and executive board would like to celebrate your dedication to your families and your efforts to advocate for change. The 2026 CAFCC focus is “Days WITH Child Care”.

School is almost out! Do you have your child's summer plans figured out?

I am accepting new enrollment for Summer Camp and offering affordable school age pricing for May to August! We will be doing weekly fieldtrip trips, water days, cooking projects, art activities, and tutoring help is offered to keep the learning fresh over Summer break.

Who doesn't love pajama days?? My construction engineer, artistic, cooperative, and kind friends do - that's who. 😀
