On Sunday, November 24, NHS students and members of Key and Interact Clubs volunteered at the Rotary Club's annual Thanksgiving food drive. The volunteers worked tirelessly in the rain, packing 1500 meals, moving 11 tons of turkeys. A tremendous community effort to assist those in need.

On Friday, November 15, students from North and South High Schools attended the ERASE Racism, Long Island Leaders of Tomorrow conference with schools from across Long Island to engage in interactive dialogues, workshops and

On Thursday, April 4th (6-7:30 P.M.), our AIDS Awareness club plans to host our 8th annual faculty volleyball game. We will have raffles, door prizes, and give away's. The funds raised will go directly to local hospitals, and to organizations supporting aids awareness research.
