At Silverstein Hebrew Academy our dual curriculum consists of a rigorous and challenging general studies program in strong partnership with a comprehensive and value based Jewish Studies program. Our students are supported to take risks in their learning, in a warm and Torah groun

ded environment. These core Cs lead the way to our continuous push towards innovative and collaborative teaching and learning. Student issues and behaviors are dealt in a manner that teaches children to learn from their mistakes yet still feel “heard”. Students and parents appreciate our open door policy and our nurturing and holistic approach to teaching. We educate the whole child academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. “Science was so fun because we did so many cool experiments.”🔬✨

Throwing it back to the Shiriya, 1st grader Tzivia shared her absolute favorite moments from science class this year! From using cups and strings to learn about vibrations to watching light travel inside different boxes, her curiosity reminds us how exciting hands-on learning can be.

Back in May, Mrs. Geisinsky and Mrs. Rahmani joined school leaders from 35 day schools across the country for the annual Hidden Sparks retreat. As a proud member of this organization, SHA is fully aligned with its mission to strategically meet the needs of all learners.
It was an eye-opening experience filled with collaboration, deep conversations, and learning from experts on shared language, clear expectations, and navigating complex situations.
We are always looking for new ways to grow, evolve, and elevate our practices. Grateful for the fresh energy, insight, and wisdom they brought back to SHA!

“Morah Cherry makes it so exciting that I feel like the parsha is happening right now!!” 🎨🎶

Throwing it back to the Shiriya, Menachem from Kindergarten completely stole our hearts with this reflection. Hearing him talk about coloring Parsha books, singing the songs, and doing hands-on projects shows just how vibrant learning can be.

Throwing it back to the Shiriya, 2nd grader Adenah gave us the ultimate review of her school year! From mastering hard math topics with Miss Keren to researching the Country Fair, she completely threw herself into learning.
