躲過了今年多場暴風雪，長島文協一年一度的新春晚會在三月七日隆重登場！每年這個時候最開心的就是與文協校友們的團聚，感謝所有幕前幕後的義工以及教務團隊，加上學生們賣力的練習及演出，校友及社區對於文協持續護持，文協得以秉持使命，延續中華文化傳承，又是一場成功的晚會圓滿落幕！
CCALI Annual Lunar New Year Gala was successful! The most precious thing is to see all of our friends get together and celebrate with us. We thank all the on-stage and backstage staff, parents, and students for a fantastic event. 12月21日上課適逢「冬至」，是中國人最重視的節氣之一，一年之中白天最短黑夜最長的一天，提醒著人們寒冷的冬天已經來臨，注意保暖，也預告著春節即將到來。今天學校準備現煮的無餡小湯圓加上紅糖水給我們的學生試吃，讓他們體驗一下中華文化的美食之一。祝福大家冬至平安，也同時祝賀大家佳節愉快，新年順利！🥰🎉🥣❄️☃️
Winter Solstice is on 12/21 this year. This is one of the most celebrated seasonal segment in Chinese culture. It marks the shortest day and the longest night during the year. It reminds people that winter has arrived, we need to eat food that keep us warm to endure the winter, and Lunar New Year is just around the corner. To celebrate, the school prepared mini glutinous rice balls for our students to try and experience the culture through this famous dessert. We wish all a peaceful Winter Solstice, wonderful holiday, and a happy New Year! 🥰🎉🥣❄️☃️

We welcomed the first snow on the 13th week of this school year! We surprised all staff, parents, and students who came with unlimited hot chocolate with mini marshmallows ☕. Everyone stay warm and safe! ❤️
