Tiny scientists, big discoveries ☀️💙
In Pre-K, students explored evaporation, condensation, and precipitation using a window-mounted water cycle experiment. Over two weeks, they watched science happen in real time. learning through observation, patience, and hands-on exploration.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration! 🦃🍁
A heartfelt thank-you to all the parents who took time out of their day to join us, share food, and make this gathering so special. Your presence and generosity filled our classroom with warmth, laughter, and love. We’re truly grateful for our amazing school community — Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Mina’s School of Great Falls!

🦜💚 Parrot Show at Mina School! 💚🦜

Today, our students were treated to an unforgettable Parrot Education Show with Chris Biro and his amazing flock of parrots! The classroom was buzzing with excitement as students watched the birds climb, interact, communicate, and show off their big personalities.

Chris Biro has enjoyed a lifelong passion for parrots, and has been flying and training them since 1993. He is nationally and internationally recognized as an educational speaker and trainer, specializing in free flight training, Ethology-based training, and Operant Conditioning methods. We are incredibly grateful to have someone with such deep expertise visit our school.

In addition to learning about parrot species and behavior, the students also explored the importance of bird conservation — how we can help protect endangered species, preserve natural habitats, and treat animals with care and respect. Our young learners asked thoughtful questions and showed so much curiosity, empathy, and kindness.

Learning comes alive when the outside world steps into the classroom — and today was truly special.

Fire Station Field Trip!
Our students had an unforgettable day at the Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department Station!
The firefighters welcomed us with open arms and showed our students what it takes to keep our community safe.
The Highlights of our adventure included:
Exploring the fire trucks
Learning about fire safety and emergency readiness
Trying on real firefighter gear
Listening to the firefighters share how they help others every day
The children’s excitement was priceless- wide eyes, big smiles, and endless curiosity! A huge thank-you to the Great Falls Volunteer Department for hosting us and creating such a memorable learning experience.
We are so proud of our little explorers for asking thoughtful questions, showing kindness, and representing Mina’s School beautifully on this special outing.
Learning beyond the classroom is what makes early education come alive – and this trip was a perfect example.
