Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation provides Transformative Learning Experience Grants to empower teachers to pursue bold, meaningful learning experiences that inspire new ways of teaching, improve student learning, and strengthens collaboration across our district.

Last night we had the opportunity to hear from both Abigail Hansen and Sandy Harrington on their experiences, and let me tell you, the impact these grants have on our teachers and students is evident!

Diane Volk gives a very generous $500,000 gift to the GFPS Foundation in support of the CNA room at GFH, an outdoor classroom at East Middle School, teacher grants, and a scholarship in her and her late husband Roy's name. She stated, "My family has attended school in Great Falls for over 100 years. I want to say thank you. I appreciate the teachers, the community, the GFPS Foundation, and our schools."

🎉New Scholarship Alert!🎉

The Anne Morand Memorial Scholarship, established by The C.M. Russell Museum, honors the remarkable legacy of Anne Morand, a respected curator, scholar, museum leader, and passionate advocate for the arts. During her distinguished career, including 30 years at the Thomas Gilcrease Museum and her leadership of the C.M. Russell Museum, Anne dedicated herself to making art meaningful and accessible to the public.

Anne understood the important role museums play in bringing people together around art and history. Her leadership helped elevate the C.M. Russell Museum and its study of American Western art to a national stage, while her work reflected a deep belief in learning, discovery, and public engagement. Her legacy lives on through the people she inspired and through the continued opportunity to make art, history, and ideas accessible to future generations.

We are so thankful to live in such a generous community who continues to pour into our students!

The North Central Montana Retired Educators' Association (NCMREA) is an organization not only for retired teachers, but for all retired school personnel. NCMREA recognizes the value of education and has established a $1,000 scholarship to support students who are going into the teaching profession.
