👹👀 Playdough Monsters & Letter Fun! 🔤🎨

Our Preschool friends combined fine motor skills, early literacy, and language development in one fun activity! 💕

Our little learners pulled googly eyes from their playdough monsters and used them to build the first letter of their names. ✋🧩 As we played, we practiced naming each letter and saying its sound! 🗣️🔠

This hands-on activity encouraged finger strength, letter recognition, phonological awareness, and communication skills while making learning playful and engaging! 🌟💬

They had a monster-sized amount of fun learning together! 👾💚✨

✏️✨ Our Pre-K kiddos have been working HARD this school year! ✨✏️

We are diving deep into learning our letter names and sounds, while also discovering how to FORM those letters! 🔤💛

With Handwriting Without Tears, we’re making writing fun, hands-on, and full of exploration! Before putting pencil to paper, our little learners get to practice writing in all kinds of sensory materials. Think tracing letters in sand, squishing and shaping with playdough, and using our fingers to make letter formations! 🙌🎨

But did you know sensory writing has SO many benefits? 🤩

🌟 Builds fine motor skills — Strengthens the little muscles in our hands and fingers for future writing success!
🌟 Encourages sensory exploration — Engages our senses and makes learning exciting and memorable!
🌟 Develops letter recognition — Helps kiddos become familiar with letter shapes and formations.
🌟 Strengthens muscle memory — Repeatedly forming letters helps those movements become more natural over time!
🌟 Supports early literacy — Connects letter names, letter sounds, and letter formation in meaningful ways!
🌟 Builds confidence and creativity — Gives children opportunities to explore, experiment, and learn through play!
🌟 Makes learning FUN! — Because learning to write doesn’t have to start with a pencil and paper! 🥳
