Paint!

The value of painting:
🎨Children learn about sizes, shapes, lines, and how objects fit together on a page.
🎨They discover what happens when they press harder with a brush or mix blue and yellow together.
🎨Preschoolers make decisions about where to place colors and how to fix mistakes when paint drips.
🎨Guiding a brush or finger to a specific spot on the paper trains the eyes and hands to work together.
🎨Muscle strengthening. Holding brushes, squeezing paint bottles, and manipulating tools builds the small hand muscles needed for writing with pencils later on.
🎨Gross motor control. Painting encourages large arm movements and core stability.
🎨 Emotional & Social Growth. Preschoolers do not always have the vocabulary to say how they feel. Painting gives them a safe, non-verbal outlet to express happiness, frustration, or anxiety.
🎨Confidence and autonomy. Making choices about their own artwork builds independence and a sense of pride.
