Sometimes it’s the little things that make a BIG difference! ❤️🖤
Behind every welcoming school, ready classroom, clean hallway, and successful first day are countless people taking care of the details—both BIG and small.

Today, we’re giving a special shoutout to Charlie, our GBHS Head Custodian! 👏
Case in point: Mrs. Higgason had a poster fall behind her whiteboard, and Charlie was on the job! 💪 He came to the rescue and recovered it. 📋😂

It may seem like a small thing, but those are exactly the kinds of moments that make a BIG difference. From moving, fixing, cleaning, and organizing to solving the unexpected problems that pop up along the way, our custodial teams do so much to help us get ready to welcome students back.

📱 GBHS Cell Phone & Yondr Bag Expectations
As we prepare for the 2026-27 school year, Great Bend High School is implementing bell-to-bell personal electronic device expectations in compliance with Kansas HB 2299.

At GBHS, students will use Yondr bags to secure their personal electronic devices during the school day. Students will receive their Yondr bag and learn the expectations and procedures on the first day of school.

We encourage families and students to review the complete GBHS student technology expectations before school begins.
