EXTRA EXTRA, Read all about it!
All Great Bend Middle School JAG-K content will be moving over to a collaborative JAG-K Region 1 account beginning August 1st. Not only will you be able to see what our wonderful JAG students are doing in Great Bend, but also in the surrounding areas!
I will post the link once it is available, so stay tuned!

Happy last day of school!!! So proud of how much growth i have seen in just this school year alone from these kids! You guys are amazing! I already can’t wait for next year!! Have a great summer!!

Well my first batch of JAG-K students are off to high school!! Such a bitter sweet goodbye! Filled with lots of tears from this sappy teacher!!These kiddos will take high school by storm and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for them! My last words to these kids as they take on high school “Don’t give up! I believe in you all! A person’s a person, no matter how small!” -Dr.Seuss

This past Monday we had the pleasure of welcoming Wheatland Electric into our classroom! They did a presentation on safety with electricity and they talked about all of the jobs that Wheatland has not offer that is not just lineman work! Thank you Trent and Mark for taking time out of your day to come speak with us!!

This week to celebrate Earth Day the students got to watch the Lorax while filling out a worksheet and then Today we made Flower Bombs out of recycled paper!! This was such a fun project and the students sure loved it!! Students could either choose to keep them for themselves or give them away! One students gave hers to our secretary for secretary’s day!

Two Great Bend Middle School JAG-K students traveled to Fort Hays State University on Wednesday for the State Career Development Conference (CDC) competition. Instructor Brenna Thompson attended with eighth graders Ella Nokes and Vianney Rodriguez.

Well the results are in!!!

Vianney got 4th place in T-Shirt design and 4th place in Carrer Preperation!

Ella got 1st place in prepared speaking!

To say I’m proud of these girls is a huge understatement! Congrats girls!! You earned it!
